Theresa A. Parkany: Formal Training

Computer assisted research and writing experience on various platforms in research, publishing and general office environments. Various research projects in SUNY Albany Graduate Department in Anthropology. Fund raising projects, computer design projects and program development with the Greene County Historical Society, writing and sales research with Van Waters & Rogers, Inc. and writing and editing of test study guides with National Learning Co.

All phases of administrative support in various businesses and structures. Administrative Assistant with the Greene County Historical Society working with the Board of Trustees individually and as a group. Administrative Assistant with Van Waters & Rogers responsible for administrative support for outside sales force and employees and administrative support and managerial backup for department managers.

Financial management with the Greene County Historical Society maintaining daily accounting records, preparing annual budget, report writing to State and Federal guidelines and managing payroll records. Financial management with Van Waters & Rogers in budget preparation and purchasing.

Public records research for New York State and private offices. Historical research on property abstracts for New York State Museum and Science Service. Research on property abstracts for various legal offices.
