On August 28, Becky and her friends celebrate Becky's sixth birthday. Daisy sits quietly holding her well behaved Baby Doll and admiring the cake. Frizzy has left her Baby Doll in the chair and is jumping up and down at Becky's elbow saying "Do we get to eat the cake yet! My Baby Doll's hungry". Becky is holding her Baby Doll that she received as a birthday gift. Becky has already found out that her Baby Doll is prone to be colicky.

Becky loves her Baby Doll, even though it is prone to be colicky. Baby Doll is wearing a new pink frock, fashioned by Tillie Tinkham. One can see her cute little toes peeking out! Becky is wearing her new plaid frock that her Mummy especially ordered from Tillie Tinkham. The blue in the frock and the forget-me-nots in her head wreath look so lovely with Becky's blue eyes.

Becky's birthday cake was made from the Becky's Birthday Cake receipt in The Tasha Tudor Cookbook. It was decorated atop with ferns, goldenrod, joe-pye weed, and forget-me-nots. At Corgyncombe the forget-me-nots are still blooming when the goldenrod comes into flower. A pretty wooden bird sits on the table.

Frizzy is still eagerly waiting for a piece of cake.

Chirpy Cheerful brings a special cheery card for Becky's birthday.

Tasha Tudor's Becky's Birthday. After Becky's woodland birthday celebration, Becky, her family, and friends, make their way to the wagon, and as they top the hill the full moon had come up in the east.
