Inspired by many Tasha Tudor Christmastide
illustrations of Mother and Child, Elizabeth portrays Mary with
The Baby Jesus. Bessie the calf , the rooster "The Crowin'
Bowen" and the hens, sisters Henrietta McHenna and Henny
Penny McHenny, Ethlyn the Corgi, the little lamb, and the
handmade Jacob sheep surround the manger where the Baby Jesus is
nestled in the hay.
