Asa Morris was
born 2 Feb 1726/27 in Woodstock, Windham Co., CT and died 30 July
1775 and was buried in Bungay Cemetery, West Woodstock, Windham
Co., CT. Asa married 14 Jan 1748 Anna Child.
Asa Morris was
brother to my 5th great grandmother Bethiah (Morris) Goff (wife
of Hezekiah Goff). Asa and Bethiah were children of Edward Morris
and Bethiah (Peake) Morris. Edward Morris was the son of Edward
Morris and Elizabeth (Bowen) Morris. Bethiah (Peake) Morris was
the daughter of Jonathan Peake and Hannah (Leavens) Peake.

Anna (Child) Morris was the daughter of Samuel Child and Keziah
(Hutchins) Child. Samuel Child was the son of John Child and
Elizabeth (Wales) Child. John Child was brother to my 8th great
grandfather Benjamin Child. John and Benjamin were sons of
Benjamin Child and Mary (Bowen) Child.
