Corgyn
Eliakim and Lydia

Eliakim and Lydia who is looking very sly.
Because our Emily Jones Shepard is such a
sweet heart and has such a charming personality we had oft times
said that we wish we had another puppy from Emily's parents.
Emily has a wide vocabulary of ah-woo-woo-woos and such
expression that it seems that she is talking to us and we
thoroughly understand her.
We found out that indeed Emily's mum had
more puppies and that a couple were available. We couldn't leave
with just one! We were thrilled to discover right on the spot
that the little boy ah-woo-wooed just like his big sister Emily.
When we arrived home the little girl also proved to be an
ah-woo-wooer! What joy!!!
When introduced to her new brother and
sister Emily did not want to even give them a glance and
preferred to sit off to the side. Emily received our special
attentions and we told her how it was because of her that we
wanted more of her family to love. Emily understood and soon
enjoyed frapping with her new brother and sister along with
Katrina and Ethlyn.
I am a stay at home corgi mum and with the
help of my daughter Sarah our days are filled with frequent
necessary outings, happy corgi play, and quiet cozy times rocking
the baby corgyn to sleep.
Eliakim May is named after Diane's 5th
great grandfather Eliakim May who answered the Lexington Alarm
from Woodstock, CT. Eliakim May was 1st cousin to Louisa May
Alcott's great grandfather Samuel May.
Lydia Rebecca Sly was named after Diane's
5th great grandmother Lydia (Sly) Head and Diane's 5th great
grandmother Rebecca Robinson. Lydia (Sly) Head's daughter Martha
married Rebecca's son Jared Robinson and Martha and Jared had a
daughter named Lydia Rebecca Robinson. Martha (Head) Robinson's
grandfather Henry Head answered the Lexington Alarm from
Plainfield, CT.
There is something about autumnal trips
and corgi puppies!

When e'er Diane gets another corgi boy
puppy she will name him Caleb Angel Corgi, after Tasha Tudor's
Caleb Corgi and Diane's 4th great grandfather Caleb Angel.
