Corgyn, Cats, Goats, Birds, & Morgan Horse: Page 11

Eliakim and Lydia in a sea of autumn leaves. Their ears match the colour of the leaves and seem to just disappear. They just love frolicking in the leaves!

Eliakim and Lydia out and about.

Lydia Rebecca Sly.

After a day of duck hunting Eliakim May brings his prize in where he can relax and enjoy it.

Eliakim and his year older sister Emily look as if they could be twins.

Eliakim and Emily remind us of our twin cousins Fred and Frank who were born in 1876. Twins must run in the family!

The corgyn's mum Diane collects old apothecary items. Eliakim and Lydia's older sisters Emily and Ethlyn manage a pretend apothecary out of Diane's old kitchen called Emily & Ethlyn's Potions and Perfumery. Eliakim and Lydia are the apprentices who gather the finest blossoms that are in season and corgi hugs. They bring their gatherings into the apothecary to extract into the sweetest of corgi potions which they administer freely. Gathering can be hard work for young corgyn and oft' times an after gathering nap is needed.

Eliakim is also good at finding arrowheads and keeps his collection in the apothecary. They are really triangular stones but he thinks they are arrowheads.

In the photograph below Eliakim is shown where he prefers to take his after gathering morning nap. He likes to sleep with his head against the crock. In the next photograph Lydia is sleeping on the apothecary shelf. When Diane was cleaning the shelves Lydia decided that the shelf was the best place for peaceful corgi slumber. Thenceforth this shelf was called Lydia's shelf!
