Corgyncombe Cottage & Corg'ery, Page
Fourteen
A little farm in the valley where the
corgyn dwell.

Softly falls the Christmas snow...

In November, Dundee cakes are made. They
are then put in cold storage until early December to be ready for
St. Nicholas Tea on December 6th. The receipt is from The
Tasha Tudor Cookbook.
'Tis so pleasant whilst outside in the
cold to anticipate afternoon tea with the warmth and good smells
within.

The Advent wreath is lit as preparations
are made for afternoon tea. The candles are hand dipped beeswax
and they smell so good. The Advent wreath is so cheerful and
creates such lovely shadows and light on the ceiling.

The tea set has been brought down from the
shelf and the table made ready for afternoon tea on St. Nicholas
Day. The Dundee cake is delicious! December teas are a special
delight!
