Corgyn is plural for corgi. A combe is a valley, dale, vale, or hollow. Corgyncombe Cottage & Corg'ery is a little farm in the valley where the corgyn dwell.

The cobblestone smokehouse is a unique feature at Corgyncombe Cottage & Corg'ery.

Sarah Grinding Corn

After shelling the corn we grind it into cornmeal. One of our favorite receipts is corn sticks made out of our own cornmeal and topped with homemade jam.

Pancakes

Pancakes atop the old black cookstove. The copper kettle is always ready to make a cup of tea!

Goldenrod & Joe Pye Weed

Between our cottage and our south field flows a small creek which we call Corgi Creek. On the banks of Corgi Creek grow an abundant variety of wild flowers. Through the seasons grow ragged-robin, forget-me-nots, dame's rocket, jewelweed, goldenrod, joe-pye-weed, and purple asters. When taking the corgyn out for a walk along the creek we frequently pick a quick bouquet for the porch such as the goldenrod and joe-pye-weed bouquet in the photograph above.
