Gardens

Sarah on Independence Day in her Mum's
vegetable garden amongst the peas & onions.

Diane dries herbs from her garden of herbs
to use for teas, for flavoring food, and medicinally.

Clematis on our Peacock aviary.

In grade school Sarah and her Mummy Diane
made Valentines for her whole class. Inspired by wild flowers we
painted using watercolors and used calligraphy to label and sign
the Valentines. We made pink heart shaped envelopes embossed with
a cupid.

Sarah stopping before lunch to admire the
flowers.

Diane always likes to have fresh flowers
in the house. Wildflowers are amongst her favorites!

Sarah and Cousin.

When Diane and Sarah demonstrate spinning
and bobbin lace making they usually take along a fragrant basket
of tussie-mussies.
