Diane's parents,
both descended from old New England families who after the
Revolutionary Struggle settled Otsego County, NY. 2001 marked 50
years of marriage for them.

What fun it is to
take an afternoon sleigh ride! Diane's father gave Diane and her
neighborhood friends a winter drive with his old green tractor.

When Diane was
growing up she had goats, sheep, chickens, and rabbits. There
were always lots of flowers including climbing roses on our
fences and arbor.

Diane used to go
over to her neighbor Ginny's to play in her playhouse. Diane
decided that she had to have a playhouse of her own. She took her
Daddy by the hand to see Ginny's playhouse. Diane's Daddy soon
set about the task of making her a playhouse. In the above
picture Diane is pretending she is a bride.
