Henry Bowen,
who deceast March ye 13,
1723, in the 90th year
of his age.
He emigrated with his father Griffith
from Wales to Boston in 1638,
and moved with the first
planters from Roxbury to Woodstock
in 1686.
Lieut. Henry
Bowen was born about 1633 in Wales and died 13 Mar 1723 in
Woodstock, Windham Co., CT and was buried in Woodstock Hill
Cemetery, Woodstock, Windham Co., CT. Henry married Elizabeth
Johnson.
Henry Bowen was
the son of Griffith Bowen & Margaret (Fleming) Bowen. Henry
was my 8th great grandfather.
