Samuel D. Jones was born 17 Apr 1788 in Reading, Windsor Co., VT and died June 1866. Samuel married 8 Oct 1820 Betsy J. Ismond. Betsy J. (Ismond) Jones was born 25 Sep 1802/03 in Middlefield, Otsego Co., NY and died 28 June 1890 in Hartwick, Otsego Co., NY. Samuel and Betsy were buried in Hartwick Village Cemetery, Hartwick, Otsego Co., NY.

Samuel D. Jones was the son of Elias Jones and Esther (Dana) Jones. Betsy J. (Ismond) Jones was the daughter of Elias Ismond and Elizabeth "Betsy" (Pitts) Ismond. Samuel and Betsy were my 3rd great grandparents.
