The following is a list of specific prayer requests you may consider as you seek to minister to the body of Christ. Because we strongly believe in the power of prayer, your involvement is essential! So join us by remembering these needs when you pray.

Please pray for my friend, Doran, from the spiritual attack he is under.
He was involved in a terrible car accident recently. His car hit a guard rail
and he sustained a mild brain injury, fractured all the bones in his face,
blurred vision and has loss of hearing in his left ear. He was on his way to
work (he doesn't drink). He's had mood swings, because of the brain injury and
stresses. 1 month after the accident his former roommate physically assaulted
him. Some of his family members and friends cannot comprehend why he's still
having problems (memory loss, fatigue, mood swings, etc.), because he looks so
well on the outside. I assume they figure "he looks fine on the outside. Why
can't he behave like he used to?" He recently allowed a man to "temporarily"
move in with him who refuses to get a job, has no car and was to only be there
for 3 weeks. That was many weeks ago. Doran helps him out physiclly, financially
and with a job. It's become quite a drain on him, whe!
n he really needs to devote that time to his own recovery. He also physically
and financially helps an older couple he's known for quite some time. They have
become quite demanding of his needed rest time too. At that same time Doran's
"relationship" with a "Christian" married woman he met online has become much
stronger. They spend hours online "chatting" which seems odd to me considering
he is single and she is married. He "no longer has time " for his Christian
girlfriend. Please pray for the restoration of his health (mental choices),

The Bible says Jesus will be where there are two or more gathered in His name and I ask for you to pray for my nephew, Brian, who will soon have a test to determine if he has a treatable or terminal disease - we would ask that this be a treatable disease if it be God's will - and ask for God's help for his parents in this time of need, in God's name we pray, Amen. 8-1-99 Linda

Can u please pray for me so that I can get along well with all my colleagues? Recently, I've been having a lot of trouble at my work place - always say things which I shouldn't have said. Also, one of the girls just does not like me. She is cold towards me. She has the misconception that I'm bossing over her. I'm always scared that she/others will talk badly about me. My Name Is Oliver and I am a born again christian. I am the father of two sons. All of us need prayer that we may walk in the perfect Will of God at all cost. I am writing you because I hurt, I am seperated from my wife, She left Us and Is in another state back home with her parents, I am in much pain. I live in a very prejudice town and we are a black family. I am the only black person on my in my field of work. I work in a prison as a counselor 18 yrs. I am in need of me and my family being lifted up unto the Heavenly Father. I would Like to move but we need confirmation and a door to open. I am willing to move where God Leads me. I have felt strongly that God was releasing me from my location to go somewhere else. i have an Idea but I need to know forsure. I don't want to go down the wrong path and shipwreck. I am at the end of my rope due to a relationship problem. I am asking that this comes to an end because the both of us are stressed to no end, I want to see her happy, but my physical, emotional and spiritual health are all suffering because of it. We both are in love with each other, and know we want to start a Christian family together some day, but now she is unsure, and is pushing me out of her life to be sure. Her friends are all being a bad influence on her, pushing her to a life of sin. I am asking that we find a solution that is in His will be done, and that the suffering be healed, and she can overcome the temptations her friends are being led by Satan to throw her way. At 67, I have diabetes and all of my toes have been removed because of gangrene. My feet, legs and knee's ache constantly and the pain has become an everyday part of my life. My hands cramp up in a crippling position for weeks and they hurt also. My spirit needs renewing because I have been angry and separated from the world since my wife's death. God sent one of my children in my life and she is giving me hope again, but I have other children who are separated from the family and I just want healing for my family before I leave this world. 6-20-99 Elridge.
I have been uncomfortable inside for a week or two. Mainly because I am not doing what I was called to do by God and my soul is restless. I want to quit my job but I haven't had any money coming in for so long and I need just a little to pay my bills. My job does not allow me enough time to get out and minister to people. I just relocated to atlanta from baltimore and I don't know anyone here and I don't know where to begin. I need guidance and direction from the Holy Spirit so that I can sleep again.
