Rick: Good afternoon. Thank you for making yourself available for this
interview which I’m conducing for my research concerning asynchronous classroom
and cultural spaces. My name is Rick. First, just a few questions concerning
your experiences prior to taking this course. How
old are you?

Shei: Education Administration.

Rick: Education administration. What degree
will you be earning?

Shei: My Master’s of Science.

be getting a Master’s?

Shei: In Education Administration.

Rick: Okay. How many years...What were your experiences
and skills prior to this course?

Shei: It was good. I don’t have any problems using
the computer.

Rick: You used word processing, e-mail, Web research?

Shei: Yeah.

Rick: When did you begin to use the Internet?
A couple years ago?

Shei: Yeah, like five years ago.
