Youth and family education, advocacy and case-management; development and
expansion of an alternative educational program from a one site/remedial
reading program to a state-of-the-art, computer assisted, multiple-site/multiple-service,
family and cross-generational educational service program; site development/expansion
to Federal Housing Sites.

Successful solicitation of funding and support from communities, schools,
businesses, governmental agencies and corporations in on-going work to
develop alternative educational service platforms in the city of Schenectady,
NY.

1992 Program of the Year Award from United Way; community-based
public access computer and technology training labs developed w/Key Bank,
Presbyterian Church, USA and WGY Radio Station; $100,000 bricks & mortar
grant from the UPS Foundation; Lotus Development Corp. grant of $10,000
network licenses for their SmartSuite integrated business software; affiliate
upstate coordinator and Steering Committee member for NYS for CTCNet

Worked as a youth/family manager and served as a consultant to staff in
a residential site development and accreditation program in Illinois, helping
to successfully certify and accredit Maryville Academy in Des Plaines and
United Methodist Children's Home in Mt Vernon, IL under the NAFTA

in the program; reintegrating institutionalized youths with families and/or
communities in cooperation with courts, families and other social agencies.

within an intense esprit de corps in a career officer program; understanding
the importance of having a sense of mission and the importance of teamwork
in my work.
Resume Objectives (see previous)
The preceding educational experiences were instrumental in
shaping interests and awareness in the development of my mind and spirit.
Notably present is the pursuit of a well rounded classical liberal arts
education with strong underpinnings in the technical, applied and theoretical
sciences directed by a fundamental concern for humans as they interact
with each other and with systems.
The training listed above supplemented my educational
experiences by providing me with life and work skills by which I was able
to bring my ideas into the world successfully in my work with others.
The above work experiences have helped me to grow and
prosper professionally by offering me challenges and opportunities to work
creatively and successfully with institutions and with others in the world
of business and human affairs.
