Cross-Rip Cottage is
just north of Utica, New York located in the heart of central New York, inside of the Adirondack
Park. You'll find Cross-Rip Cottage far enough from civilization
for peace and relaxation, yet close enough for every convenience.
Just a few miles north of Utica off the
New York State Thruway at exit 31; Cross-Rip Cottage is a few steps from the beaches,
just outside the door from the ski resorts, cross
country skiing and of course less then five minutes from the snowmobile trails
and no more then 10 to 25 minutes in any direction from spectacular shopping.
Cross-Rip Cottage has
non-stop activities happening year round. If you are in need of pre-planed
arrangements or activities just have us set them up for you.
In the
winter there is down hill and
cross county skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobile, sight seeing, ice fishing,
sledding, ice skating, small and big game hunting, ice climbing, hockey and many

In the
spring, summer and
fall there
is golfing, tennis, walking, hiking, camping, mountain climbing, fishing, canoeing, boating,
sailing, kayaking, rafting, water skiing, sun bathing, swimming, small and big
game hunting, roller blade skating, biking, sight seeing, scuba diving, and many
other warm weather activities occur during this time of the year.

Our gift shop at
Sugarbush Bed and Breakfast is open seven days a
week. You'll find all your favorite items -- candy bars, souvenir coffee mugs,
post cards,
cookbooks, guide maps and comic books as well as many other gift ideas at the Bed & Breakfast.
The malls are very close by with lots of well known shops. There are also many
quaint shops, antique shops and museum shops at a very close location. There are
several world famous furniture manufacturers with attached outlet/stores all very
close.
The Cottage has a telephone and the
Internet can be reached through a dial-up modem connection. If you need, we have computers to rent if you did not bring your own.
The staff at Sugarbush/Cross-Rip can help you with routine computer problems, and we have
a technical expert on staff.
