This is a new Guest Book. The old one stopped working for about 3 months, and they (a different company) just didn't fix it. At the bottom of this page you may see the old entries.
It is important for the health of these pages that you participate in the Guestbook program, because it helps to keep ideas fresh.
Jesus said: "...... I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)

The arrowana happens to be one of my faviorite aquarium fish. I am amazed by their grace and power that they add to the aquarium. |

Its looks the same but maybe the quality is different. At this moment we are following the trend on Chilly red which is much better than the Golden arrowana. It's much more expensive that rest of arrowana breeds.Hope that you don't mind, if I commented too much regarding this subject. |

| Record 20 Name: David Website: Referred by: Just Surfed On In From: Toronto Time: 1999-09-08 04:39:44 Comments: I think your knowledge is invaluable and I thank you for this information - my newest infatuation is this particular fish and I would love to hear more on the topic - my particular species is the Australian Jardini - he or she is about 10 inches long now (bought it at 4 inches) - Actually I have a question ... how do you tell if your particular fish is male or female? It normally is quite jumpy and has some pretty funny habits such as eating off the bottom of the tank. Its appetite is incredible and I am almost sorry that I started it eating live food, but can't help spoiling it - its diet is a fresh mix of carrot and mixed greens fed crickets and medium sized feeder gold fish as well as frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp - I need to move him to a new home and must travel with him a quite a long distance and was wondering if you could give me some tips on how to do this most efficiently and of course with the least amount of disruption - he is in a 40 gallon tank and will be move to a 100 gallon in the near future at a new location - the tank is gravel based and has two aqua clear filters in operation - there are other fish in the tank.. two plecos, and three coreycats - that's what left anyway after his between meal snacks. It seems that he knows now (finally if I may add) that he is suppose to wait for his meal. After reading about the size of you specimens, I can only assume that your tanks are huge and I have recently inquired about whether my new floor can hold this kind of weight - how now in this case? Thanks for all your information in advance - hope to hear from you... David |

| Record 11 Name: Calvin Website: Referred by: Yahoo! From: Houston Texas Time: 1999-03-07 03:49:42 Comments: The info was very helpful. I've only been raising Arrowana for about a year, but in my experience, they are very capable of defending themselves against some of the aggressive fish. I have a Jardini (Australian, Pearl, etc) that is about 14 inches long and he bosses a tank that has 4 Firemouths each about 5 inches long and a Green Terror that is about 6 inches long. The Cichlids fight amongst themselves but they beware of the Arrowana. |
